As a Group Facilitator, you will prepare and present educational content, promote discussions that foster learning, and uphold our commitment to a culture of respect and sensitivity.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Prepare and present educational materials that encourage active client participation.
* Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive environment for learning and discussion.
* Evaluate client participation during group sessions and communicate feedback to team members.
* Document client attendance and summarize participation and outcomes for each group facilitated.
* Utilize agency-approved formats to maintain timely and accurate documentation of services in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
* Report potential threats to client or staff wellbeing promptly to supervisors.
* Commit to regular and consistent attendance as an essential job function.
* Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
** Education, Experience, and/or Credential

Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field;
** OR
* ** High School or General Equivalency Diploma with two (2) years of responsible employment history.
* Employees in this position may be required to apply for Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor (MAADC) credential.

*** Demonstrated effective communication skills in group and public settings are essential.
* Ability to facilitate educational groups for adults, promoting positive morale and supportive attitudes.
* Must demonstrate initiative, innovation, and creativity leading to improved clinical outcomes.
* Ability to exhibit concern for the needs of clients and staff, enhancing the organization’s image.

* Physical Requirements:

*** Sedentary work:
