Shift: Weekdays M-F 12am (Midnight)-8am
** Must be a Certified Missouri Peer Specialist with at least a high school diploma or GED.**
Job Summary:

As a Certified Peer Mobile Response Specialist, you will provide on-call/mobile coverage, conduct assessments, and support clients through various crisis programs. Your role will be instrumental in creating a trauma-informed environment that prioritizes safety and empowerment for those you serve.

- Provide on-call/mobile coverage as determined by your work schedule, accompanied by a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
- Conduct telephone or face-to-face assessments when requested by the Burrell Crisis Line or Crisis Services Leadership.
- Engage clients in collaborative and caring relationships, utilizing interpersonal skills and knowledge about recovery.
- Support clients by validating their experiences and feelings, exploring community roles, and assisting with tasks and goals.
- Promote coping skills for managing addictions and mental health symptoms while encouraging the use of natural supports.
- Deliver a person-centered treatment approach, personalizing recovery goals to align with clients' hopes and preferences.
- Create a trauma-informed environment that emphasizes safety and empowers clients to regain control.
- Provide face-to-face and/or telephone contacts to consumers through various crisis programs, establishing effective relationships.
- Attend scheduled meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
- Complete all documentation requirements by stated deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Crisis Services or designee.
- Review, understand, and follow the ACI Four Core Competencies.
- Self-identify as a present or former client of mental health or substance use services, or as a person in recovery from mental health or substance use disorder.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Pass a background check or request an exception to the findings if applicable.

- Valid driver’s license and a favorable recent driving record.
