Speech-Language Pathologist – $60/hr – Kansas City, MO – 3-Month Assignment

The Speech-Language Pathologist provides evaluations, therapy services, and documentation for students in accordance with individualized plans of care and professional standards. This role supports early‑childhood learners with communication, language, and developmental needs in a collaborative school environment.

Hours:

35 hours per week

Pay Rate: $60/hour (local)

Modality:
In‑person

Openings: 1 position

• Early Childhood Center setting
• Caseload of 25–30 students
• Collaboration with a supportive SLP team
• Students may require support with autism and AAC
• Virtual interview required

• Conduct speech‑language evaluations and re‑evaluations
• Provide direct therapy aligned with student IEP goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support early‑childhood communication, articulation, and language development
• Assist with AAC implementation when needed

• Active Missouri SLP license (or ability to obtain)
• CCC‑SLP preferred; may be required based on district needs
• Experience with autism and AAC preferred
• TB/health certificate and CPR if required
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old
