This position is structured as a 6‑month contract with strong potential to transition into a long‑term role within the organization. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have experience in talent acquisition within a large corporate environment. Experience recruiting for construction and/or engineering roles is preferred, but not required.

Job DescriptionCollaborate with hiring managers to determine current and future staffing needs. Develop and execute sourcing strategies using social networks, job boards, and niche platforms. Communicate with entry-level to three-year candidates using various forms of communication. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation. Ensure compliance with labor legislation and internal hiring policies. Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract diverse and high-performing talent.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with hiring managers to assess staffing needs.
- Work with Talent Acquisition Managers and Lead Specialists to address needs in the construction and corporate sectors.
- Develop sourcing strategies utilizing social networks, job boards, and niche platforms.
- Communicate effectively with candidates at entry-level to three-year experience levels.
- Source and screen candidates for interviews with decision-makers.
- Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates and talent communities.
- Manage the entire recruitment cycle, from screening to offer negotiation.
- Track and report key recruiting metrics, such as time-to-fill and source of hire.
- Ensure compliance with labor legislation and internal hiring policies.
- Contribute to employer branding efforts to attract a diverse and high-performing workforce.
- Maintain long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
- 2-3 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a maximum of 5 years.
- Experience in recruiting for construction and skilled trades.
- Proficiency in recruiting for corporate and entry-level roles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and shift between roles.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct structured and behavioral interviews.
- High volume experience managing 20-30 requisitions at a time.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency with sourcing tools, such as Linked In Recruiter.
- A drive for success and ability to prioritize requisitions.
This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
