About the InternshipModern Wealth Management is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Intern to support our HR and Recruiting functions in our Kansas City office. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a career in Human Resources who is looking to gain hands‑on, practical experience in a professional services environment.
This internship provides exposure to core HR operations, compliance, recruiting processes, and cross‑functional business support.
What You’ll DoThis internship will focus heavily on organization, process improvement, and HR compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting HR file audits, including personnel files and I-9 documentation
- Assisting with restructuring and organizing HR files and internal documentation systems
- Supporting recruiting process standardization in partnership with the Recruiting team
- Reviewing processes for consistency and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Assisting with administrative HR projects and documentation updates
Depending on workload and performance, there may be opportunities to support additional business functions, including collaboration with Accounting during slower periods.
When not assigned to primary projects, the intern will support ongoing team needs within HR and Recruiting and participate in structured learning opportunities to deepen their understanding of business operations.
What We’re Looking For- Current student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
