We are hiring a Sr. Network Automation Engineer with a strong focus on automation to augment our Network Services team. You will design and deliver the connectivity and critical infrastructure that powers our firm’s operations. As we modernize and evolve our network architecture, you’ll play a key role in embedding automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and Dev Ops principles into network design and operations

This hybrid position will be based out of our Kansas City, Missouri office.

• Lead the strategic transformation of network infrastructure by embedding automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) into enterprise-wide delivery pipelines
• Optimize existing network engineering workflows by leveraging automation and orchestration tools to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability
• Partner with Application Development and Dev Ops teams to modernize and integrate network infrastructure into agile delivery models
• Champion innovation by introducing forward-thinking network solutions that enhance performance, security, and automation
• Develop long-term IT strategy plans aligned with overall business objectives
• Lead and mentor network engineers while collaborating with peers and leadership to ensure the stability and scalability of our global network infrastructure
• Design, implement, and maintain advanced network solutions, including SD-Access, SD-WAN, Wireless, Remote Access, Zero Trust Networking, Data Center Networking, Firewalls, and Public Cloud Networking
• Drive product evaluations, establish selection criteria, and oversee the deployment of emerging technologies
• Research and assess emerging technologies, applications, and integration strategies to continuously improve network capabilities
• Prioritize key initiatives and manage resource allocation, ensuring effective project and personnel management
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on network requests, implementation, and network transformation initiatives
• Address raised network issues and outages by participating in a rotating on‑call schedule and problem management process

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in network engineering, with progressive responsibilities and architectural oversight
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Expert‑level proficiency in deploying and maintaining Cisco ACI, VxLAN EVPN, and/or Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller
• Strong expertise in Radius‑based authentication for 802.1X and MAB
• Demonstrated experience deploying and managing SASE solutions
