SAP Test Lead

• Create comprehensive test strategies covering SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance, Security, and Integration Testing.
• Define Test Governance
  • Establish frameworks for reporting, defect lifecycle management, triage processes, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Prepare detailed test schedules aligned with program milestones, releases, and key project timelines.
• Identify required business users, schedule readiness sessions, and conduct walkthroughs for UAT.
• Align Cross-Module Coverage
  • Collaborate with functional and solution leads to ensure all SAP modules in scope are tested.
• Oversee Test Execution
  • Lead functional, technical, non-functional, and automation test teams onsite and offshore.
• Manage Test Data & Scripts
  • Ensure all test cases, scripts, and data are prepared, validated, and loaded into management tools.
• Monitor Test Progress
  • Track execution quality, progress against plan, manage blockers, and ensure environment readiness.
• Chair defect triage calls, deep-dives, and coordinate resolution of all testing defects.
• Monitor defect trends, severity, retests, and communicate business impact to stakeholders.
• Report & Communicate
  • Deliver structured updates, readiness reviews, UAT kick-offs, and phase-end sign-offs.
• Manage Test Tools
  • Oversee SAP Solution Manager, ALM, Jira, Worksoft/Tosca, Panaya, and other test tools.

• Test Management Expertise
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing SAP test strategies across multiple phases.
• Governance Skills
  • Ability to define and manage test governance, metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks
• Scheduling & Coordination
  • Experience preparing detailed test plans aligned with program timelines and milestones.
• UAT Facilitation
  • Skilled in coordinating business users, preparing walkthroughs, and managing UAT readiness.
• Cross-Module Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of multiple SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, Ariba, SF, BPC, or Fieldglass.
• Experience leading onsite and offshore test teams across functional, technical, and automation streams.
• Test Data Management
  • Proficiency in preparing, validating, and managing test cases, scripts, and test data.
• Monitoring & Reporting
  • Ability to track execution, manage blockers, and maintain adherence to test plans.
• Strong experience in defect lifecycle management, triage, and issue resolution.
• Stakeholder Communication
  • Ability to provide structured reporting and communicate status, risks, and impacts effectively.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager, ALM, Jira, Tosca/Worksoft, Panaya, and ADO.
• Capability to collaborate with business SMEs, technical architects, and integration teams.
• Experience supporting program-level improvements, risk management, and adoption of global best practices.
