Data Architect

This role provides strategic and technical leadership for an organization’s data ecosystem, focusing on how information is structured, connected, secured, and delivered for business use. The position drives the development of scalable data environments that support reporting, advanced insights, and intelligent technologies while enabling consistent and reliable access to enterprise information.

The position works across technical and business teams to establish data standards, guide platform decisions, and ensure systems can effectively share and utilize data. The role also supports complex system transitions and large-scale data integration efforts.

• Define the overall structure and direction of enterprise data environments
• Establish frameworks for collecting, organizing, storing, and sharing data across platforms
• Design data flows and integration approaches that connect multiple applications and systems
• Guide implementation of data solutions in cloud, hybrid, or multi-system environments
• Develop reusable data assets that support operational and analytical needs

• Partner with technical and business leaders to understand information needs and translate them into scalable solutions
• Advise leadership on data capabilities, system design decisions, and long-term architecture planning
• Support cross-functional initiatives requiring coordinated data access or transformation

• Define policies and standards for data accuracy, security, and lifecycle management
• Establish practices to maintain consistency and reliability of enterprise data
• Promote responsible data ownership and usage across teams

• Monitor industry trends and recommend improvements to data tools, processes, and architecture approaches
• Produce technical documentation, models, and design standards
• Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams on architecture principles and best practices

• 7+ years’ experience designing and delivering enterprise-level data solutions such as Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Mule Soft, Tableau, Microsoft 365, or similar tools
• Experience working with modern data platforms, integration technologies, and analytics environments
• Understanding of data lifecycle management, governance practices, and information architecture principles
• Experience designing secure and high-performing technical solutions
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Strong analytical thinking and documentation skills

• Relevant technical certifications in data, analytics, or cloud technologies
• Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
