Security Engineer

This Security Engineer will use technology to improve, streamline, and automate information technology systems and services.

Kansas City, MO (Remote)

• Develop and maintain the security posture of rules, controls, security safeguards, and conduct reviews to protect information assets.
• Facilitate and configure application integrations, create IAM objects (users, groups, service accounts, API tokens, etc.), respond to incidents, follow change‑management processes, and produce documentation.
• Collaborate with the team to understand secure authentication, authorization, IDaaS, and API services to reduce manual processes and shorten time to market.
• Design and develop code required to build and maintain Access Management Services.
• Improve change‑management practices and enable rapid recovery from ransomware or other critical incidents.
• Share knowledge, enable others with skills, and continuously seek improvement opportunities.
• Prioritize work, collaborate in a team setting, and manage tasks using time‑management skills.

• Working Conditions:
  
  Use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
• Physical Demands:
  Requires extended sitting, standing, light lifting (under 20 lbs).
• Hours of Work:
  May require extended work hours and occasional overnight travel.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience;
  Master’s Degree preferred or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
