10 is currently seeking a SAFe Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Kansas City, MO. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. Compensation: $85.00 - $95.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications.
Position Overview:
The Agile Release Train Engineer is responsible for guiding teams and leaders through the Agile Release Train (ART) processes, including Program Increment (PI) planning and synchronization events. The ideal candidate will coach teams and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile principles and mindsets to improve the flow of value. This position focuses on fostering collaboration, transparency, and alignment across diverse teams to ensure strategy and execution are in sync.
- Facilitate Pre- and Post-PI Planning readiness by fostering a continuous exploration process that drives the synthesis of a vision, a roadmap, and backlogs
- Summarize team PI objectives into program PI objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency
- Facilitate periodic synchronization events, including the ART sync
- Assist with decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary
- Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
- Encourage collaboration with teams to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
- Improve the flow of value through value streams by improving and assessing practices
- Anticipate potential issues and develop strategies to mitigate them
- US citizenship or lawful permanent resident alien status with at least 3 or more years of US residency from the date of legal entry to the US required for this position
- 6+ years of relevant experience in guiding teams and leaders through the Agile Release Train (ART) processes, including PI planning, synchronization events, and continuous improvement
- Experience fostering collaboration, transparency, and alignment across diverse teams
- Experience coaching teams and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile principles and mindsets
- Ability to identify and mitigate potential issues to ensure the smooth flow of value through value streams
- Bachelor's degree specializing in computer science, project management, business administration, information technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Skills:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or other related certifications preferred
