Project Controls Specialist

Position

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Project Controls Specialist to join their team! This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and construction management. The role is centered around supporting program management clients—primarily in the government sector—by configuring and optimizing project management systems such as Pro Core to streamline planning, budgeting, collaboration, and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize Pro Core to support planning, budgeting, collaboration, and resource management needs
• Translate client processes into system configurations
• Provide support on budgeting, cost management, and general project controls best practices
• Collaborate with other system administrators and Pro Core experts to ensure consistent implementation across programs
• Contribute to process documentation and participate in training initiatives to support user adoption
• Travel occasionally to client sites as needed (approx. 10% all within North America)

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in construction project based roles
• Strong background in project controls, construction management, or field/project engineering
• Proven hands-on experience configuring Pro Core and working directly with clients
• Familiarity with budgeting, RFIs, daily work journals, and cost control in construction environments
• Experience in the AEC industry and knowledge of construction management systems

Nice To Have Skills & Experience

• Exposure to P6 (Primavera) or Autodesk Information Systems
• Experience in government programs or federally funded projects
• Previous admin experience within Pro Core or similar PMIS tools
