As an Integration Architect
, you’ll play an important role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable interoperability solutions across clinical, operational, business, and external partner systems. You’ll help ensure that critical information moves accurately and efficiently across the organization while supporting the standardization and integration of our electronic health record and business systems.
This is an opportunity for an experienced IT professional who enjoys solving complex problems, understanding how data moves across systems, and partnering with teams to turn technology and data challenges into effective solutions.
What You’ll Do- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of enterprise integration and interface solutions across clinical and non-clinical systems.
- Support interface development and initiatives focused on data quality, integrity, and reliable information exchange.
- Ensure integration and interface solutions meet clinical and operational needs while supporting system-wide EHR and business system integration and standardization.
- Identify integration requirements and apply standardized methodologies for evaluating, documenting, tracking, and implementing changes across disparate systems and usage models.
- Implement and maintain information exchange initiatives and integration products that support organizational strategic priorities.
- Promote and maintain data integrity across enterprise applications and integrated systems.
- Maintain accurate and current information for supported applications within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Create and maintain system documentation, technical specifications, and detailed interoperability program documentation.
- Participate in on-call production support and assist with troubleshooting and resolution of integration-related issues.
- Collaborate with data owners and stewards to understand data relationships and uses, identify root causes of data issues, and contribute to effective solutions.
- Participate in professional development, cross-training, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Promote quality improvement, patient and staff safety, and a culture of respect and inclusion through daily work and professional interactions.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations, guidelines, standards, and organizational compliance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field and/or relevant system interface experience.
- Experience in an information technology role such as Interface Analyst, Programmer/Analyst, Database Administrator, or a related position.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and information technology security.
- Ability to develop, monitor, and adjust implementation methodologies to ensure best practices and project management standards are followed.
- Experience developing interfaces using interface engines, particularly Open Engine
