About the CompanyOur client is a growing technology company serving the grocery and retail industry. The company provides solutions that help retailers modernize operations, improve efficiency, and better serve their customers.
We are seeking a highly capable Enterprise Account Manager to serve as a trusted partner to several of the company’s largest customers. This individual will initially play a central role in the implementation and long-term success of a key enterprise customer with a large multi-location network.
The OpportunityThis is a hands-on, client-facing role at the intersection of enterprise account management, technology implementation, and project leadership.
You will serve as the primary company contact for a key enterprise customer during a complex, multi-phase rollout. You will work closely with customer leadership, operational, and technical stakeholders while coordinating internally with technical support, product, implementation, and leadership teams.
While one major implementation will be an immediate priority, this position will also support additional enterprise customers as the company’s customer portfolio grows.
The ideal candidate understands how grocery and retail businesses operate, is comfortable working with retail technology and POS environments, and knows how to keep complex client initiatives organized, on schedule, and aligned across multiple stakeholders.
What You’ll Do- Serve as the primary relationship owner and day-to-day point of contact for key enterprise customers.
- Lead client communication throughout implementation, rollout, and ongoing account management.
- Build strong working relationships with customer teams through frequent on-site engagement in the St. Louis area.
- Develop and maintain implementation plans, timelines, milestones, responsibilities, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate customer requirements and issues across internal technical support, product, implementation, and leadership teams.
- Keep complex, multi-phase rollouts moving on schedule while identifying risks, dependencies, and potential delays.
- Understand each customer’s technology environment, including POS systems, integrations, and operational requirements.
- Translate customer questions and business needs into clear, actionable information for internal technical teams.
- Communicate technical issues, proposed solutions, timelines, and expectations clearly to customer stakeholders.
- Track open items and ensure customer concerns receive timely ownership, follow-up, and resolution.
- Lead regular project and account-status meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively identify risks to customer satisfaction, adoption, or implementation success.
- Maintain accurate account, project, and customer-communication records in internal systems.
- Support additional enterprise accounts as business needs evolve.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen customer adoption, retention, and long-term account value.
- Enterprise implementations remain organized and progress according to agreed schedules.
- Customers receive clear, consistent, and proactive communication.
- Technical and operational issues are identified early and coordinated effectively.
- Customer stakeholders understand project status, responsibilities, risks, and next steps.
- Internal teams receive accurate and actionable information from customers.
- Key customers view the Enterprise Account Manager as a responsive, credible, and trusted partner.
