This opportunity entails being responsible for advanced troubleshooting and resolving intermediate enterprise application issues assigned to the team.

Also responsible for monitoring enterprise application performance, application deployments, technical documentation, application installations and configuration. Participates in 24/7 on-call rotation. Serves as escalation point for Service Desk and Level I application engineers. This is an in-office position in our downtown Kansas City office.

• Provides tier 2 support and maintenance of applications to meet daily operational needs.
• May act as escalation point if needed.
• Configures and upgrades applications as directed to meet daily operational needs.
• Implements and maintains customizations of applications to meet evolving business needs including reports, dashboards, and workflows.
• Implements and maintains third-party software connections and applications to support various business needs.
• Assists with debugging system integration and functionality issues including engagement with vendor support for defect resolution.
• Documents and implements policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, change protocols, customization, usage, etc.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of application functionality, customization, and integration.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree and 4 years of relevant experience
• In lieu of education, 6 years of relevant experience

• Innate Curiosity Demonstrates an increased understanding of enterprise applications.
• May begin to develop area(s) of specialization.
• Independently resolves basic issues and begins to handle more complex issues.
• Recognizes areas of opportunity and provides suggestions with respect to process improvements.
• Contributes to and maintains the documentation of enterprise level applications.
• Works cooperatively in a team environment with others to achieve shared objectives.
• Ability to prioritize multiple and often varied tasks.

• 5 years Enterprise Level Application Operations experience
• Experience supporting cloud-based applications Microsoft Azure, Synapse, Data-Lakes, Power BI
• Experience with MS SQL Databases
• Experience supporting integrations between various platforms and/or various enterprise level applications
• Advanced technical troubleshooting experience
• Process automation
• Strong self-starter
• Knowledge of Agile and ITIL principles
• Operational ownership and accountability
• Strong history of cross-team communication and collaboration
