Underwriting Services Representative

Join CopperPoint Insurance Companies as an Underwriting Services Representative. The role assists the underwriting division and new product launches by managing the new business submission intake process and supporting midterm policy changes and renewals for all lines of business.

• Accurately process new business submissions, entering all risk and exposure information into the rating system to develop base premium.
• Complete Market Reservation, OFAC, and Experian checks.
• Prep new business and renewal accounts, including file set‑up, web searches, and entering loss information.
• Execute endorsement, cancellation, and reinstatement triage and processing within defined underwriting guidelines.
• Process Broker of Service/Broker of Record requests.
• Bind/issue new business payroll service submissions.
• Process all other defined tasks associated with new products or vertical launches.
• Process auto and cargo filings.

• BS/BA college degree or equivalent work experience. Knowledge and skill levels acquired through undergraduate‑level studies, especially in risk management, business administration, or finance, are a plus.
• Knowledge and/or experience with commercial lines insurance is considered a plus.

• Employees accrue 0.0692 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per paid hour, which may total 18 days a year, and receive 10 paid holidays each calendar year.

• $41,000.00 – $44,000.00 annually.
• Compensation may vary depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
• In addition to base salary, compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus.
