Job Description At Charlesworth Consulting, we partner with organizations to deliver strategic insights and practical solutions that drive meaningful results. We’re seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team—someone who brings sharp analysis, strong client leadership, and a passion for solving complex challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and service the firm’s largest and most complex client accounts with a high level of independence.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, strategic guidance, and exceptional service.
  • Manage insurance renewals end‑to‑end, including reviewing current coverage, assessing future needs, and analyzing broker‑provided options.
  • Evaluate and recommend insurance programs and risk management solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Oversee broker activities such as marketing, negotiations with underwriters, quote accuracy, and renewal documentation.
  • Monitor and support the resolution of complex claims issues to ensure timely and satisfactory outcomes for clients.
  • Analyze and interpret complex insurance structures, policy language, and risk‑funding mechanisms to guide client decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to expand consulting services and collaborate with brokers, agents, and carriers to resolve service issues.
  • Provide leadership within the team through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and effective coordination with internal partners.
  • Participate in strategic account planning, client meetings, and special projects that strengthen client relationships and organizational success.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    High school diploma; college degree preferred.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 7+ years customer service, underwriting or risk management experience in the insurance industry.
  • Skills & Licensing:
    Active state specific Property Casualty Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.
  • Technical

    Competencies:

    Advanced knowledge of property and casualty coverages, including interpreting policy forms, endorsements, and experience mods.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to be proactive, mentor others, and contribute as both an independent and collaborative team member.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation, presentation, analytical, and critical‑thinking abilities.
  • High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, organization, and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and commitment to ongoing learning, compliance with agency procedures, and maintaining required privacy and regulatory standards.
