Personal Injury Associate Attorney

We are looking for an attorney who has a desire to work up cases in detail while being supported by an A+ team. We’ve built an environment that allows more deep-thinking and creativity than most personal injury firms out there. Based in Kansas City, Missouri, we exclusively handle personal injury and long-term disability cases. Our new attorney will work with a growing team of 20 legal professionals and interact with clients, attorneys, judges, medical providers, and other legal professionals as needed.

That may include you!

A typical day for this position may include:

• Developing a case strategy and executing that strategy.
• Interacting and negotiating with insurance companies.
• Communicating with clients with empathy and openness about their cases.
• Supervising paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring tasks are completed in our case management system.
• Review medical records and reports.
• Supervise the settlement and lien reduction process.
• Celebrate client victories.

To be a part of our team, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of legal experience and should have the following traits:

• Good with people and able to empathize with clients.
• Motivated, takes initiative, and enjoys solving problems,
• Hunger to learn and grow in all aspects of being a personal injury attorney.
• Willing to take ownership and speak up to help us all improve every day.

• Minimum 3-5 years in the practice of law, with a preference for personal injury law.
• Top-tier organization and prioritization skills (a must-have),
• Experience in working directly with clients and insurance companies.
• Willingness to learn our systems and as part of a growing team.

$100,000 - $150,000 yearly
