Investigator – Consumer Protection Section ~ Kansas City
The Office of the Missouri Attorney General (Kansas City location) has an opening in its Consumer Protection Section for an Investigator. Starting salary is $53,290.69. This position is open until filled.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct criminal and civil investigations
- Present findings in report form
- Conduct interviews
- Exhibit excellent report writing skills
- Analyze financial records and other pertinent documents
- Create spreadsheets
- Exercise independent judgment
- Organize multiple projects and manage a large case load
- Work well under pressure
- Testify in court
- Strong desire to serve the public
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Word, Access, and Excel
- Previous investigative experience preferred
