A highly regarded Am Law firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level Business Transactions Associate to join its Kansas City office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong experience in mergers & acquisitions and broad corporate transactional matters to work within a collaborative and sophisticated practice. The role offers meaningful client interaction, high-level transactional work, and the opportunity to contribute strategically to complex business matters.

• Mergers & acquisitions
• Commercial transactions
• Corporate governance and compliance
• Contract drafting and negotiation

• Tax-related corporate matters

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record
• Admission to the Missouri Bar and in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in M&A and corporate transactions
• Ability to interface directly with attorneys and clients
• Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple matters effectively
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Sound judgment and strategic thinking abilities
• Ability to develop and implement legal strategies
• Interest in and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
