We are seeking a Materials Supervisor for a leading manufacturer in KCMO. This role oversees warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, team leadership, and compliance with safety standards to support production and distribution goals. • Anticipate $70,000-$80,000 base.

• Fully on-site in the greater Kansas City area.

• Manage 3 team leaders and 15-25 hourly employees, including orientation, training, performance appraisals, and issue resolution.
• Promote a zero-injury culture by enforcing safety policies, investigating incidents, and attending safety meetings.
• Oversee daily operations:
  Scheduling personnel, inventory counts, audits, and work sequences for shipping/receiving.
• Collect and analyze data for decision-making, manage payroll, and ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve problems and maintain efficiency standards.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• No specific certifications required, but safety training preferred.
• 5+ years supervisory experience in distribution/manufacturing.
• Strong MS Office skills, including spreadsheets and data analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle physical demands:
  Lift up to 100 lbs, work in loud environments.
