Construction Project Manager - Commercial​/Industrial

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial projects in the Kansas City area. This role is ideal for a proactive and organized leader who excels at guiding complex projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Project Manager will oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring they remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Lead commercial and industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, permitting, and quality control
• Oversee daily project operations and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain efficient workflow
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of issues
• Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and established company standards
• Manage contracts, change orders, and all project documentation to maintain organization and transparency
• Support estimating efforts, project planning, and resource allocation for upcoming work as needed

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience on commercial or industrial construction projects
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects while meeting schedule, budget, and quality objectives
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and risk management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative management style
• Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or similar platforms preferred
