The ideal candidate will ensure all products are produced to specifications and on time, maintain accurate inventory control, and uphold the highest quality standards. A successful Production Associate will elevate company standards, achieve goals, provide excellent product suggestions and guidance, and exceed the manager's expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Convert raw materials into finished goods safely and efficiently.
- Package all products to specifications set by the Operations Manager.
- Coordinate waste disposal as directed and ensure policies are followed.
- Ensure products are properly stored and labeled.
- Audit and record all weights and counts of cannabis material, reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Execute preparation, production, and packaging of cannabis products.
- Maintain and clean all packaging and production equipment, operating them safely.
- Complete all orders in a timely manner, meeting deadlines.
- Coordinate and manage daily lab tasks with the Operations Manager.
- Set up, operate, and sanitize filling, edible and solid dose manufacturing equipment.
- Follow manufacturer instructions and SOPs for sanitizing production areas and equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all data in tracking software.
- Prepare plant material for extraction and accurately document related data.
- Fill, package, and label products in compliance with SOPs and manufacturing procedures.
- Set up, break down, and sanitize packaging and production areas as needed.
- Strong understanding of basic math concepts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Detail oriented.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently.
- Ability to use tools/equipment to repair and assemble large machinery.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions at one station for extended periods.
- Desire to continuously learn about cannabis, cannabinoids, endocannabinoid system, and therapies.
- Effective listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and software (word processing, databases, spreadsheets, email).
