Mechanical assembler - $20/hr - $22/hr HIRING IMMEDIATELY Job Description
We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our production floor team, specializing in the assembly of air outlets. The primary focus of this role will be assembling products and collaborating with welders for repair tasks. The technician will receive training in various areas of the warehouse to provide support wherever needed. Candidate needs to have prior mechanical assembly or mechanic experience of at least 1.5 - 2 years.
Responsibilities- Assemble air outlets using hand and power tools.
- Operate drill presses, punch presses, and riveting machines to assist in assembly operations.
- Collaborate with welders for repairs by providing necessary parts.
- Read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate assembly.
- Work efficiently within smaller teams, contributing to a growing department.
- 1 year of assembly experience.
- Proficiency in reading tape measures and understanding basic drawings.
- Experience in reading blueprints and work orders.
- Mechanical inclination and attention to detail.
Skills & Qualifications
- Skill in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in expanding teams.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KANSAS CITY, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
