Quality Manager - Rigid Plastic Packaging

George Thomas has partnered with a leading rigid plastic packaging manufacturer.

Following the company's continued growth, we are actively recruiting a Quality Manager with the responsibility to lead all quality aspects within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing plant.

The role is required to be on-site daily and reports directly to the Plant Manager.

• Responsible for overseeing that work is carried out safely and without injury, food safety issues are reported to the appropriate manager or supervisor and resolved
• Leads the Quality Assurance department.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems
• Operates as a critical link to the customers and suppliers as necessary regarding quality issues
• Ensures quality standards are established, understood, and incorporated into all manufacturing practices
• Lead actor in the SQF Implementation at the Plant level
• Complaint management and development, formulation and monitoring/prioritization of root cause and corrective actions

• 7+ years of experience in quality management with proven quality, food safety and ISO requirements.
• Injection Molding experience is required.
• An effective communicator, hands-on leader
• A detail-oriented individual with an analytical mindset and the ability to follow through on actions.
• Minimum 3 years in progressive quality management positions.
• Demonstrated proven record of implementing quality policies, GMP, HACCP, ISO
