Ecommerce Email Marketing Strategist – B2C Channels (exp. req.) DescriptionOur client, an industrial distribution company, is seeking a hands‑on digital marketer to drive growth across their B2C market. Reporting to the Director, you will own email lifecycle marketing and SEO execution, directly managing campaigns that improve conversion, engagement, and revenue across owned and search channels. This role is ideal for a strong digital operator who enjoys working inside platforms, testing campaigns, and translating data into practical performance improvements.
You’ll personally build, launch, analyze, and refine campaigns, while partnering closely with Creative, Sales, and external partners to ensure execution aligns with business goals. Success in this role requires someone who can balance day‑to‑day execution with strategic prioritization, focusing efforts on initiatives that move performance and revenue. Email Marketing Strategist – B2C Channels (exp. req.) Responsibilities
- Own email marketing strategy, automation, campaign execution and optimization
- Build lifecycle flows; improve deliverability, A/B tests, and engagement
- Improve segmentation, deliverability, and list hygiene
- Execute SEO basics: keyword tracking, on‑page updates, and reporting
- Manage site updates in ecommerce CMS (products, pages, promos)
- Coordinate with Creative on assets for email and ecommerce
- Build dashboards and reports; translate data into actionable insights
- Partner with Sales on B2B campaigns and enablement
- Track spend and advise budget allocation and trends
- Ensure privacy and data compliance with internal and third‑party teams
- 5+ years in digital marketing or ecommerce demand generation experience required
- Ecommerce CMS backend experience (Big Commerce/Shopify/Magento) required
- Strong grasp of B2C/DTC UX/UI best practices required
- Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools, and MS Office (Excel basics) required
