The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving program growth and visibility through strategic marketing execution and strong agent engagement. This role partners closely with internal teams and external agents to ensure clear communication, consistent messaging, and effective market positioning. The Marketing Manager leads digital, social, and agent-facing initiatives, supports sales and distribution efforts, and uses performance insights to continuously optimize marketing strategies and strengthen overall program performance.
Responsibilities/Functions- Serve as the primary point of contact for appointed and prospective agents, delivering timely communication on programs, underwriting appetite, and opportunities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that expand distribution and increase program visibility
- Manage website content and social media channels to strengthen brand presence
- Create, coordinate, and distribute marketing materials including program flyers, newsletters, digital campaigns, proposals, and agent communications
- Collaborate with underwriting, risk management, and leadership teams to support program initiatives
- Support and coordinate agent meetings, trade shows, and industry events
- Track marketing performance, campaign results, and agent engagement to identify growth opportunities
- Support sales initiatives through lead generation, activity tracking, and agent appointment efforts
- Ensure all marketing communications align with program guidelines and carrier requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or business development within the insurance industry strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of insurance distribution models and agent relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM platforms, email marketing tools, and social media management systems
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
