Senior Development Officer

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Development Officer for a private Christian, classical, collaborative model school, located in Kansas City, MO. The primary responsibilities include designing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure philanthropic support, including annual campaigns, major gifts, corporate partnerships, grants, and capital campaigns. This position works with a team to foster relationships with parents, alumni, and donors while overseeing special events, communications, and database management to ensure long-term financial sustainability.

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement an annual development plan that aligns with the school's mission, vision, and financial goals.
• Donor Cultivation & Stewardship
• Event Management: Work with our Event Planner to plan special events, such as galas, auctions, and alumni gatherings.
• Marketing & Communication: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling materials, reports, and narratives that communicate the school’s impact.

• Experience: Proven experience in non-profit fundraising, preferably within an educational environment.
