**** LPN – Cardiovascular Clinic
**** Position Overview
** BJC/Saint Luke’s Health Cardiovascular Clinic is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. This full-time, day-shift position focuses on delivering high-quality professional nursing care within an outpatient cardiovascular setting.
** Requirements**
* ** Licensure:
** Active LPN license in both Missouri and Kansas (or multistage/compact equivalent).
* ** Certification:
** Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

* Skills:

** Strong professional demeanor, excellent customer service, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
** Key Responsibilities**
* ** Patient Care:
** Perform clinical screenings for walk-in patients and manage telephone screenings using established protocols.
* ** Clinical Procedures:
** Assist with biopsies, wound care, dressing changes, suctioning, catheter insertion, tracheostomy care, and diabetic nail care.
* ** Patient

Education:

** Provide essential instruction on medications and injection techniques.
* ** Team Leadership:
** Delegate tasks to Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) based on competency and scope of practice; provide coverage for Medical Assistant duties as required.
* ** Compliance:
** Maintain clinic standards and practices to ensure superior patient outcomes.#
