Travel RN - Pediatric ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring previous travel nursing experience and active MO or compact licensure.

Job Details

• Work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a children's hospital,

• Night shift, 36 hours per week, 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00,

• Cares for critically ill pediatric patients,

• Level I Trauma Center and Magnet hospital with Level IV NICU,

• Cerner charting system is used,

• Scrub attire requires kid-friendly colors or patterns,

• Parking is free with a permit,

Job Requirements

• Active MO RN or compact license required at time of consideration,

• Active Kansas RN license or compact license also required at time of consideration,

• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required at time of consideration,

• Minimum 2 years of PICU RN experience required,

• At least 12 months of previous experience as a travel RN in a PICU setting required,

• Two professional references from a supervisor level or higher within the last 12 months required,

• Date of birth and Social Security number required at time of consideration,

Additional Information

• First time travelers will not be considered for this position,

• Responsible for providing critical care to pediatric patients in a high-acuity environment,

• Hospital is a nicotine-free campus and conducts nicotine testing,
