• Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed per unit
• Weekend Rotation: 4-6 weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) AND 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule
• Holiday Requirements: 1 major holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas) and 1-2 minor holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day)

• BLS, FHM, NRP
• AWHONN Advanced and AWHONN Intermediate preferred

• IV therapy/Phlebotomy:
  Administration of blood & blood products, Drawing Venous Blood, Start & maintain peripheral IV, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring
• Labor and Delivery Management:
  Amnioinfusion, Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section, Forceps/vacuum extraction, Hemorrhage/shock, Recover C-Section, Sterile vaginal exam
• Work Settings:
  Antepartum, Community Level experience, Facility births/month
• Administration:
  Antihypertensives, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Prostaglandins, Terbutaline
• Neonatal Care in Delivery Room:
  Collect cord samples, /Security Banding
• Newborn Care:
  Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Car Seat Education, Cord Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Infant Identification, Metabolic Screen, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Phototherapy, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation
• Antepartum Care and Procedures: NST, Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Sterile vaginal exam, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM
• Postpartum Care and Procedures:
  Baby friendly protocols, Breastfeeding Support, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Foley Catheter insertion, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, Use of Electric/Manual breast pump, Wound Assessment and Care
• Postpartum Care of the Patient with:
  Bladder Distension, Cesarean Section, Couplet Care, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Vaginal Delivery
• Surgical Case/Procedures: D & C, Tubal Ligation
• Pain Management:
  Epidural Anesthesia, General Anesthesia, Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Use of PCA (IV)
