American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an LTAC/Telemetry night shift position in Kansas City, MO, requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent LTAC experience.

• Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting
• Unit:
  Chronic Care (LTAC/Telemetry)
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 6-week contract
• Responsible for applying the nursing process to deliver safe, evidence-based care to LTAC/telemetry patients in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
• Demonstrates critical thinking and clinical leadership in prioritizing and delegating patient care based on staff competencies
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Previous employees of any Kindred Hospital facility (permanent or contract) must disclose prior employment history for consideration
• First-time travelers may be considered if they meet all experience and licensure requirements

• Active MO RN license or compact (multi-state) RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required — must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA); RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent LTAC experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
