Job Description

Location: USA - MO - Kansas City - 82nd Ter

Hourly Wage Range: $24.32 - $33.44

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, including AIDS education and self‑exclusion.
• Conduct medical history interviews, physical examinations, blood testing and review serological protein electrophoresis results.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including transport to emergency care.
• Consult with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs on findings and guidance on medical or technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation by occupational health or EHS.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations of pandemic threats.

• High school diploma or graduate equivalent recognized nursing program; state requirements.
• Licensed or certified in the state of assignment (LPN or LVN).
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State licensure for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
