Saint Luke's Hospital is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Intensive Care Unit Float Pool.

Position:
Registered Nurse (RN) – High Acuity Float Pool

Schedule:

Full Time, 36 hours per week, Nights

Supportive leadership team with Nursing Assistants to assist;
Intensivists and NPs work alongside RNs during shifts;
Respiratory Therapy available at night; extra incentives for picking up additional shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Perform patient care, delegate patient care tasks, and supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health‑care team as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency and adhere to policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Registered Nurse license in KS (NURSYS) or MO (NURSYS).
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
