Registered Nurse - CVOR

Overview

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring a full‑time Operating Room Nurse in the CVOR. The role includes scrubbing and circulating for a range of cardiac procedures, including vascular, thoracic, open heart and heart transplant surgeries. This position is part of a Magnet‑designed academic medical center that emphasizes innovation, robotics, and continuous improvement.

Working days include on‑call duties; the response time is 30 minutes.

• Function independently and account for the nursing process.
• Coordinate care for patients and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to team members.
• Identify hospital resources and serve as a clinical resource for new employees.
• Demonstrate formal or informal leadership within the unit or department.

• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Registered Nurse – Various.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.

Full time, day shift, United States of America.
