Registered Nurse - Clinical Education Specialist - NICU

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate education programs and core curriculum for patient‑care staff.
• Serve as a clinical and educational consultant, providing expert support for ongoing professional development of clinical staff using evidence‑based practice.
• Manage general and area‑specific orientation, continuing‑education certifications, and competency system responsibilities.
• Collaborate with other educators and leaders as a referral resource for staff, patients, and the community within the area of expertise.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge and standards of care to support quality outcomes in the NICU.

• Registered Nurse with 3–5 years of neonatal intensive care unit experience.
• Master’s degree preferred (any discipline).
• Strong knowledge of evidence‑based nursing practices and patient‑care education.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Full‑time, 40 hours per week. The role requires travel among Saint Luke’s Hospital, Saint Luke’s East, and Saint Luke’s North NICUs.
