Responsibilities
- Determine donor eligibility for plasma donation, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, and blood testing.
- Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions at the facility following SOPs.
- Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
- Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for findings requiring medical or technical guidance.
- Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation by occupational health/ER; apply EHS guidance.
- Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and investigate local pandemic threats.
- Provide center‑level environmental, health and safety support in accordance with Bio Life Medical Affairs guidance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; or completion of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
- Current state license or certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Certification for basic IV therapy in the state of licensure.
- Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- At least two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Hourly wage range: $33.44 – $45.98 (subject to qualifications and experience). The wage offered will comply with applicable state and local minimum wage requirements.
