Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Kansas City, MO
Registered Nurse (RN) position in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting, with a primary focus on respiratory and cardiopulmonary care. The assignment is a travel opportunity with a 3‑by‑12‑hour night shift schedule, starting ASAP for a 13‑week deployment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to LTAC patients, utilizing the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Perform all aspects of the respiratory therapist scope of practice and, where applicable, the cardiopulmonary scope of practice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient care plans and improve outcomes.
- Current, valid RN license in the state of Missouri.
- At least 1 year of LTAC experience within the past 3 years.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiology/Emergency certification preferred.
