Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
• Provide hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) while observing and reporting changes in condition to support comfort and quality of life.
• Support and guide patients and caregivers by reinforcing the care plan, offering emotional support, and helping them understand what to expect during the hospice journey.
• Respond promptly to patient needs with empathy and attentiveness and accurately document care provided in the EMR.
• Work independently, but never alone.
• Travel to patient homes within assigned territory.

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate in the state of employment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Minimum one year of healthcare experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license and ability to spend about 20% of the day driving to/from patient locations.

• Pathway to Nursing Program:
  Up to $20,000 in student loan repayment for CNAs advancing to an LPN certificate after one year of employment.
