East Intermediate Nursing Assistant

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. Experienced CNAs, nursing assistants, or patient care techs are encouraged to apply. New hires without certification or experience will receive mandatory 6‑week on‑job training before working full‑time nights with self‑scheduling flexibility.

• Provide patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN.
• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks, including activities of daily living such as bathing, hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning.
• Identify and anticipate patients’ family needs proactively.
• Individualize and modify care based on each patient’s needs.
• Collaborate with other health‑care team members to enhance patient care.
• Maintain strong communication and time‑management skills.

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience or current CNAs, nursing assistants, or patient care techs.
• Basic Life Support certification – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Team‑oriented with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑moving, high‑volume environment.
