Little Sisters of the Poor is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team at Jeanne Jugan Center. Our mission is to provide a loving home where each resident is treated with dignity, respect, and person-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition
  • Support residents in maintaining independence and quality of life
  • Assist with restorative care, transfers, positioning, and ambulation
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with nursing staff
  • Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional care
Qualifications
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
  • CPR/BLS certification required
  • Long-term care experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records preferred.
