Role & Responsibilities:
Provide specialized cardiac care for patients undergoing catheterization and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessments, assisting with procedures, operating hemodynamic equipment, monitoring vital signs, supporting post-procedure recovery, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety standards. Collaborate effectively with cardiologists, medical teams, patients, and families to deliver seamless care and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:Requires at least one year of recent Cath Lab RN experience, a valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications include PALS, ENPC, or RCIS. Essential skills include critical thinking, communication, technical proficiency, physical stamina, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism. Strong interpersonal, motor, sensory, and mental skills are necessary.
