Join Bishop Spencer Place, Kansas City’s premier non‑profit Life Care retirement community. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility.
Position DetailsLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Skilled Nursing Unit
Schedule:
Full Time;
Days; 3x12 shifts
- Meet with assigned nursing personnel to plan shifts' services, programs, and activities; oversee nursing assistants.
- Administer professional nursing services and medication to residents; ensure compliance with care plans.
- Assist with new admissions and discharges.
- Consult with residents, family members, and physicians regarding care, treatment, and rehabilitation plans.
- Administer medication.
- Visit residents to evaluate physical and emotional status.
- Notify attending physician and next‑of‑kin of changes in resident condition.
- Report problem areas to the RN Supervisor or Clinical Director.
Applicable experience:
Less than 1 year.
IV Certification – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
Licensed Practical Nurse (MO) – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
