Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time Day Shift (2:45 p.m. – 11:15 p.m.)
Little Sisters of the Poor is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN or LPN/LVN to join our nursing staff at Jeanne Jugan Center. Our mission is to provide exceptional, person-centered care to the elderly in a home where every resident is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. As a member of our nursing team, you will deliver quality nursing care, supervise Nursing Assistants, and support the physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being of residents.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes to physicians, supervisors, and family members as appropriate.
- Document resident assessments, treatments, incidents, and care plan updates.
- Supervise and support Nursing Assistants, ensuring quality resident care.
- Participate in resident assessments and interdisciplinary care planning.
- Respond appropriately to resident and staff emergencies.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, infection control standards, and facility policies.
- Foster a positive, respectful environment for residents, families, and coworkers.
- Current Missouri RN, LPN, or LVN license.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred, particularly in geriatrics, rehabilitation, long-term care, or psychiatric nursing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
- Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer applications.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally assist with moving residents exceeding 100 pounds.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
