Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Registered Nurse
Experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Electrophysiology (EP) labs and Cardiac Catheterization procedures, providing specialized care for patients undergoing complex cardiac interventions. Responsible for delivering high-quality nursing support in a fast-paced EP lab environment.
Responsibilities:- Administer pre- and post-procedure assessments and care to cardiac patients.
- Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures including ablations, device implants, and lead revisions.
- Operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment such as Phillips systems, Maclab, and Meditech documentation systems.
- Monitor patient vital signs and sedation levels during procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
- Document procedural details and patient responses accurately in medical records.
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery processes, and post-discharge care.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse.
- ACLS/BLS certification required.
- At least 1 year of experience in an EP lab or cardiac cath lab setting.
- Proficiency in performing cardiac procedures such as ablations, device implants, and extractions.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
