Registered Nurse – IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

$2774.40/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled RN for a 13-week travel assignment on the PCU/IMC/Stepdown unit. The nurse will provide specialized care for patients requiring monitorization and complex treatment in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions utilizing telemetry and other advanced equipment.
• Administer cardiac drips and medications in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Perform neurological assessments, including NIHSS evaluations, for stroke patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in the Meditech system.
• Float to other units as needed based on competency and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least one year of recent experience in a PCU, IMC, or stepdown unit.
• Possess current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Demonstrate proficiency with telemetry, cardiac drips, and neurology patient care.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work the scheduled shifts including nights and weekends.
