Registered Nurse – Cardiac Catheterization Lab – Kansas City, KS

Contract - Licensure: KS RN License or Compact RN License required
- Experience:
Minimum 2 years in Cardiovascular Cath Lab, with experience with Mac Lab, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, temporary pacemakers, right heart cath

- Provide patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including assessments and hemodynamic monitoring
- Assist with procedures such as balloon pump management, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and right heart caths
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute patient care
- Administer medications and manage invasive devices, including Pacemakers and Impella pumps
- Educate patients and their families on procedures and post-care
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and documentation protocols
- KS RN License or Compact license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of specialized experience in Cardiovascular Cath Lab
- Strong cardiovascular and hemodynamic knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This position is based at a premier Kansas City, KS, facility renowned for cardiovascular care. The RN will primarily work in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, supporting complex cardiac procedures, including pump management and diagnostics. The unit emphasizes patient safety, team collaboration, and ongoing professional development.
