Responsibilities
Emergency Room RNs (ER RNs) are responsible for recording patient symptoms and collecting comprehensive patient histories. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Key duties include:
- Managing care for patients with life-threatening conditions and performing triage interventions
- Assisting physicians with exams, diagnostic tests, and treatments
- Preparing, administering, and documenting prescribed medications
