What You’ll Be Doing- Support patients through pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for cardiovascular and interventional procedures.
- Work side-by-side with cardiologists during catheterizations and interventions, assisting with life-saving emergency procedures when needed.
- Set up, calibrate, and monitor electrical and hemodynamic systems to record real-time data and guide treatment.
- Deliver safe, skilled, compassionate nursing care using the full nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
- Collaborate with the care team and families to tailor each patient’s care plan and ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Stay calm and focused in urgent situations—your training and critical thinking shine when it matters most.
- Provide service with professionalism, integrity, and heart—every patient, every time.
- ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in the State of Missouri.
- Active BCLS and ACLS certifications.
- At least one (1) year of prior Cath Lab experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of the cardiovascular system and related procedures.
- Excellent communication skills—clear, calm, and effective with patients and teammates.
- Confidence and ability to act independently in fast-paced or critical situations.
For this role, you must live within a 30 minute drive to University Health TMC (downtown Kansas City, MO) to be able to meet on-call requirements.
