American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN with nephrology or transplant experience for a night shift position at a Level 1 trauma hospital.

• Work on the 6W Transplant Nephrology unit specializing in med/surg, nephrology, kidney transplants, renal care, and dialysis (dialysis performed off-unit)
• 20-bed unit with 1:6 patient ratios
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Requires working 3 weekend shifts per month
• No on-call requirements
• Agency and contract nurses float first per unit policy
• Unit staffed with daytime unit secretary, PCTs, and a unit educator
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• Virtual nurse supports patient admissions, allowing bedside nurses to focus on other patients

• Active RN license (MO or Compact)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in med/surg, nephrology, or related specialty
• ADN required
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required for Missouri placements

• Provide med/surg nursing care to patients with nephrology and kidney transplant needs
• Level 1 trauma facility
• Royal blue scrubs required; black scrub pants permitted
• Unit recognized with a 'We show up' teamwork award
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
