Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit
Schedule
3 x 12-hour night shifts per week, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM.
Assignment Details
13-week assignment; minimum 3 shifts guaranteed per contract.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred.
- Experience with telemetry, vascular care, and neurological monitoring.
- Epic charting system proficiency preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a progressive care setting.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, including dysrhythmias.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis and care planning.
Compliance / Notes
Orientation includes 12 hours of training and EMR/module training. Specific requirements and training deadlines will be communicated.
